Report a note
If a pqnote link was used for phishing, malware or illegal content, report it here. The note is deleted straight away.
What we can do with a link
A pqnote link has two parts. The part after /n/ is the note’s ID. The part after the # is the key, and browsers don’t send it to us. Your report sends only the ID and the reason you picked.
The note is encrypted with that key, so we can’t read it, check what it links to, or hand over its contents. What we can do is delete it by its ID, which this form does at once. If the note was already read or has expired, there is nothing left to delete.
We keep the ID, the reason and the time of each report for 90 days, to spot repeated abuse. We don’t store your IP address with the report.
If you need to tell us more
To add detail, for example what a note said if you already read it or where the link was sent from, or for a legal request, write to us at secria.me/contact and include the link. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police.
If a note sent you to a fake sign-in page, you can also report that page to Google Safe Browsing.
