pqnote Secria

Terms of use

By using pqnote you agree to these terms. They were last updated on 28 October 2026.

Who runs pqnote

pqnote is run by Secria, Inc., a Delaware corporation, 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901, United States.

What pqnote does

pqnote encrypts a note in your browser and stores only the encrypted copy until it is read or it expires. The key is in the part of the link after the #, which browsers don’t send to us, so we can’t read your notes. Anyone who has the full link can open the note, once.

What you may not use it for

You may not use pqnote to send anything illegal, or anything that harms other people, including:

  • material that sexually exploits children;
  • phishing, scams or fraud, including links to fake sign-in or payment pages;
  • malware, or links to it;
  • threats, harassment or incitement to violence;
  • material that infringes someone else’s rights.

You may not try to break pqnote, overload it, or get around its limits.

What we can do

We can delete any note that is reported or that we have reason to believe breaks these terms, limit or block access to pqnote, and change or stop the service. Where the law requires us to report something to the authorities, we do.

Your notes are your responsibility

You decide what goes in a note and who gets the link. Send a passphrase, if you set one, by a different route from the link. pqnote is not a place to keep anything: a note is deleted once it is read or when it expires, and you can’t get it back.

No guarantees

pqnote is free and provided as it is. We don’t promise that it will always be available, or that a note will reach the person you meant it for. As far as the law allows, Secria, Inc. is not liable for losses that come from using pqnote. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Reports and legal requests

To report a note, use the report page. For legal requests, write to secria.me/contact. Because notes are encrypted with a key we never receive, we can delete a note but we can’t read it or hand over its contents.

Changes and law

We will update these terms here and change the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, except where the law where you live gives you rights that a contract can’t change.
